HERBAL & SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE

So I have been one to use Chamomile tea with honey for cough and itchy throat, and to help me sleep on a restless night.  I also use Green Tea at that 2:30 p.m. drain everyone gets to help pep me up instead of caffeine.  But I've been wondering what other natural things could be used to help you out in  the a pinch.  In this day and age people either run to the doc to get pills, pills, pills or they can't afford to go to the doctor at all.  I only take vitamins on a daily basis and nothing more or nothing less, except some ibuprofen (ib's) on the first day of my raging PMS (not TMI I hope). So I went on a net surf for home remedies.

Sprinkle on toothbrush or add to glass of water to gargle/rinse mouth helps gum disease and gingivitis. Make a paste with cayenne pepper and water apply to sore area to relive toothaches.
