POLITICS WITH A 6 YEAR OLD

POLITICS WITH A 6 YEAR OLD:

Kyle: Mama who are you going to vote for? We voted today at school.
Me: Oh yea, who did you vote for?
Kyle: Mitt Romney.
Me: Oh yea, I thought you liked Barack Obama.
Kyle: I do like him, but he has been president for 4 years and I thought I would give Mitt Romney a chance. Who are you going to vote for Mama?
Me: Well last time I voted for Obama.
Kyle: Will you vote for

 Mitt Romney too, like me?
Me: No baby. I can't.
Kyle: Why not Mama?
Me: Because baby I don't believe in the same things that Mitt Romney does.
Kyle: Barack Obama likes pizza.
Me: Me too.
Kyle: *giggles*

THE END.

PINE CONE BASEBALL & SLING SHOT

You can never fully appreciate your parents until you have children & understand all the emotions they had to go through.
And as you watch your own children with your parents it brings back so many memories of the things they did with you. Because through your teenage years all you remember is the things they didn't do for you.
I also think being a Grand Parent takes a lot of the stress you go through as a parents.  I mean they still worry about their Grand Kids, but not that gut wrenching worry they they did when their own 16 year old was on the road or their 10 year old was at a sleep over.
Grand Parents get to enjoy more of the kiddo part being a Grand Parent and have less of the stress as they did as a parent.

THE WEEKEND IS HERE

RAISE A LITTLE HELL!!!!!!!

What does that mean for you?

For me? Well.....
FRIDAY:
Pool & Grill this evening with kids & neighbors.
Spades tonight with neighbors.
SATURDAY:
Beach with all my wonderful boys.
Watch Alice & Wonderland Saturday family movie night.
SUNDAY:
Hopefully go see the new Shrek movie with my boys.
Laundry, cleaning & grocery store....sometime.

My weekends may not be what they use to be when I was single or before I had kids, but I try to make sure and at least have some fun and do something I want.......and not always need to do.
Yes my laundry will probably still be on the couch Monday morning, but it will be clean.
Yes my floors may still need to be mopped come Monday morning but.....who gives a shit? An hour after I mop them they need to be mopped again anyway.
My fridge may not be packed full, but there will be stuff to eat there always is around here.

There comes a time in your life, and it is usually in your 30s when you just have to let go of being SOOOOOOOOOOOOO in control of everything. And the bigger your family gets you have to realize the less control you are going to have over everything.

Yes every other day my floor is covered in Legos and yes sometimes I go to bed and DON'T clean them up.

When I die I will remember on June 5, 2010 I took my boys to the beach to play and have fun in the sun.....I will NOT however, give a shit that on June 5, 2010 my floor desperately needed to be mopped and I didn't do it!!!!!!!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND & RAISE A LITTLE HELL!!!!!!!

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO TODAY?

Lick & Smell my own feet.

At least this little goof-ball has character & he gives mommy very hilarious photos to show his girlfriends when he is a teenager and brings them home.

HULA HOOP

A hula hoop is a toy hoop that is twirled around the waist, limbs or neck. Although the exact origins of hula hoops are unknown, children and adults around the world have played with hoops, twirling, rolling and throwing them throughout history.

The record for the most hoops twirled simultaneously is 132, set by Paul "Dizzy Hips" Blair on November 11, 2009.

On July 7, 2007 (7-7-7), hula hoopers of all ages synchronized their swivel-hips on six continents to celebrate the first World Hoop Day.
