THE JOURNEY

The Journey
One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice--
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late

enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do--
determined to save
the only life you could save.

THE CAPACITY TO BE ALONE...

The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it is not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of the other person - without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness cannot be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other.

HOME-SPIRATION

This room is so cheerful with its pops of color. Teal pops of color always catch my eye.

How can you not love word play in a room. Especially light up big sign word play. And again with the teal color pop with the wicker chair.

I love all outdoor table and garden decor.  I love eating outdoors and having a cozy spot like this I would adore.

Cute little collection of cacti.  We need more cacti in our life. :) They are easy to take care of and give green to your home.

Again I love the outdoor table setting. Total wait. And I want a pet chicken too. ;)

Love these luscious window boxes and with the orange home and blue shutters. Gorgeous.

Creativity in your kitchen window. A must.

Work with the space you got. This cute cozy patio with its greenery adorable.
