O' CHRISTMAS TREE O' CHRISTMAS TREE
WHAT WONDERFUL MEMORIES YOUR BRANCHES GIVE ME.
May you all find.............
............and Love during this wonderful holiday season. At this time of year I always feel my heart expand and and I have so much joy and all I want is for everyone else to have that same joy in their heart.
A walk down memory TREE lane:
Found out pregnant with RePeat in November of 2005 and rec'd this lovely ornament for the Christmas tree is December.
RePeat made this ornament CD at his first Christmas he was in preschool in 2008. Adorable.
Too School for Cool.....before he was Too Cool made this at school in 2005. He was 9.
Last year I picked up this cool Origami set thing at the book store and Too School for Cool made a Christmas box and a couple of these trees. So cute.
This ornament I got in 1996. P-Nut (aka Too School for Cool) was born in November of 1996 and I rec'd this cute little ornament his first Christmas.
Last year we also made some clay ornaments. RePeat did a hand print (which is hard to see with the multicolored painting) and then painted his hand. Word to the wise...think before you make these, because this baby is HEAVY and requires a strong branch. :)
This was made by RePeat at Preschool....I'm not sure if it was '08 or '09 (bad mommy). :)
Another had print (and not as heavy as the other). This is another one made my Too School for Cool before he was Too Cool. It doesn't have a date on it so I'm not sure what year this one was done.
And remember:
ALL YOU NEED IS....

I'M ALL READY FOR CHRISTMAS.....
....well except for the presents part.
Now that Thanksgiving is nothing but a stinky turkey pan in the trash can.......it's time to get into the Christmas spirit.
I used my 4 day weekend wisely & went ahead & got my tree up, otherwise who knows if I ever would have gotten it up.
I think I have change the decor on my mantle every month since I moved into my new pad. Changes is good.
Now just need to go visit that Mr. Clause & make sure he has me on his nice list this year, so I don't have to chase him down with a crowbar........again.
OH yea & get some presents for those crazy kiddos of mine. :)

CRAFT-SPIRATION
Some craft-spiration for your looking pleasure. Some great ideas and some great colors.

Fall leaves to ad a touch of the coming weather to your fireplace decor.

These are coaster, but I've been working on some to just frame.

I love the colors in this photos. And I love the felt work.

Something to do with old clothes or some bargain finds at the thrift or garage sale that you love but may not fit you.

I just love love love this pillow. So simple, but such a big statement.

I like working with paper. Inexpensive but elegant.

Ho-Ho-Ho to get in the Christmas spirit.

Letters for your home.

I WANT TO BE CRAFTY
I've had a really hard time find time to get all crafty lately. My creative side is starved for energy. I've some cool crafts I really want to make. Me share.

I want to do some new pillows. My thought is to snag some cheap-o pillows at Target (Tar-ge)and do some fabric paint with random words on it (of course in the colors green, brown, beige, etc. that match my living room).

I want to do something like this but not for flour or foods or anything but to put those little candles in. i think that would be so pretty on a wall of like 3 or 4.

Ole Einstein you rock. I'm not sure what the person who did this craft put it on, but I want to put ole Einstein on a pillow. Maybe do like a Andy Warhol of Einstein pillows where he is in different colors with different color pillow. DAMN I told you I'm creatively starved. I need to get on this!

I thought this was the coolest project ever. These flowers are made from pistachio shells. Isn't that awesome and then spray painted different colors. I think these were made to be broches, but i think it would be a cool center piece on a table to have a bunch of these in different colors that go with the room, and maybe a broch too. :)

In keeping with the theme of all the bad ass mosquitoes invading The Lone Star at this time. I found this cute little mosquito guy. i think he was done on a onesis, but since my kiddos don't wear onesis anymore think I could do it on a little t-shirt. Isn't it the cutest little evil thing ever?

And in getting in the "will come too soon" holiday spirit I found this cute little Christmas trees. They are adorable and look pretty simple. Not sure what I am going to put them on. Maybe just some homemade ornaments or something, but these are cute.

These are really cool made from nature picture holders. They would look so awesome on a mantle or a shelf. I love them and the naturalness of them. Just a little 'picking up sticks" and cutting them down and viola` awesomeness picture holders
There is so much more i have found lately that I really really really want to do. It's finding the time that's the hard part. But these are a few. If I ever get around to these lovely little projects I will for sure post the finished projects. and I'll try to post some more "want tos" as I find them.
